The high-speed extruder, as the core equipment of the PVC pipe extrusion line, its technical features directly determine the quality of the pipes and the production efficiency.

1. Optimization of screw and barrel structure

High-speed extruders usually adopt a gradually changing screw design, combined with nitrogen-treated alloy barrels, which reduces the shear heating of materials under high temperatures. The screw compression ratio is precisely controlled within the range of 1.6-2.0, enabling more uniform melting and mixing of PVC resins, stabilizers, etc., and avoiding local overheating that causes bubbles and color changes in the pipes.


2. Efficient temperature control and cooling system

PVC materials are sensitive to temperature, and strict temperature control is required during high-speed extrusion. The equipment adopts a zone heating + segmented cooling system, which monitors the temperature of each section of the barrel through thermocouples and keeps the temperature difference within ±2℃. The cooling system uses a spiral water channel design to ensure rapid cooling of the pipe forming section, avoiding pipe deformation caused by thermal expansion and contraction, and improving the dimensional accuracy of the product.


3. High-speed extrusion and screen changing technology

The screw rotational speed can reach 300-500 r/min, and high-precision speed regulation is achieved through a planetary gearbox to ensure an increase in production efficiency of over 40%. The screen changing device uses a rapid screen changer, with the screen changing cycle shortened to within 5 minutes, reducing downtime compared to traditional equipment and significantly enhancing the continuous production capacity.


4. Dual-screw forced feeding system

A dual-screw forced feeding machine is used, combined with a weight loss feeding system, to achieve precise control of the material flow. The feeding accuracy error is ≤ ±1%, ensuring the stability of the proportions of each component in the PVC formula and avoiding fluctuations in the mechanical properties of the pipes due to uneven feeding.


5. Intelligent control system

A PLC + touch screen control system is equipped, which monitors key parameters such as extrusion pressure, torque, and rotational speed in real time. Abnormal situations trigger automatic alarms and shut down protection. Through data recording and analysis functions, it is possible to trace production process parameters, facilitating quality control and process optimization.
